We handle the company
We deal with the company directly, push back on every “no” and escalate when needed. When we have a result, we email you to approve it before anything is finalized.
What we handle
The bills and charges nobody has time to fight
Car rental damage bills
Surprise repair, “loss of use” and admin fees after a rental. We demand the itemized estimate, photos and fleet logs before anyone pays.
Medical bill errors
Duplicate charges, wrong codes and inflated totals. We get the itemized bill, find the errors and ask about financial assistance.
Airline refunds
Cancelled and delayed flights, lost bags, vouchers instead of cash. We hold the airline to its own rules.
Utility overcharges
Estimated readings, surprise jumps and wrong rates on gas, electric and phone bills. We dispute it in writing.
We don’t negotiate insurance claims.
How it works in practice
How we fight it
A few common situations, and how we handle them. Every case is different.
When a rental company bills you for “damage”
Three weeks after returning the car, a $2,400 bill arrives for a “scratched bumper.” We send a written dispute with the pickup and return photos, demand the itemized repair estimate, the damage photos with timestamps and the fleet’s prior-damage log, and follow up by phone every week. Without proof the damage happened during the rental, there’s no basis for the charge, and that’s the argument we press.
The goal: $2,400 → $0
When a hospital bill doesn’t add up
A $3,180 ER bill lists the same MRI twice and codes the visit at the highest level. We request the fully itemized bill and medical records, flag the duplicate line and the coding error in writing to the billing office, and ask the billing office to hold the account so it doesn’t go to collections while it’s reviewed.
The goal: $3,180 → $1,940
When an airline offers only a voucher
The airline cancels a flight and offers only a $450 travel voucher. We file a refund request citing the U.S. Department of Transportation rule that, when an airline cancels a flight and you don't accept the alternative, you may be entitled to a cash refund, and escalate with a DOT complaint if the airline stalls past 7 business days.
The goal: Voucher → $450 back to the card

Our refund promise
No win? Full $300 refund.
A win means the company gives you any refund, credit or bill reduction. If they deny in writing or nothing comes within 60 days of filing, you get your full $300 back.
Refunds go to your original payment method. The refund applies as long as you send us what we ask for and don’t withdraw or settle with the company on your own. If they offer something and you turn it down, that counts as a win. If we decide not to start your case after you pay, you get a full refund too. Full terms
We don’t take claims under $300, since our fee would cost more than you’d get back. If $300 is half or more of what’s at stake, the form tells you right at the amount field.

FAQ
Questions people ask
Is this legal advice?
No. ClaimRight is a claims and billing advocacy service, not a law firm. We communicate with companies on your behalf, organize your paperwork and push for a fair result. If your case needs a lawyer, we’ll tell you so.
What does it cost, and when do I pay?
One flat $300, the same for every case. It’s charged at checkout on this site, right after you sign. If we don’t win, you get it all back. If we look at your case and decide not to start, you get a full refund.
What do I sign?
A short authorization, typed online at the end of the form, that lets us contact the one company about this one matter only (medical cases add a standard HIPAA authorization so the provider can share the bill with us). Nothing is accepted for you without your OK. There’s nothing to sign or confirm by email.
What do I need to send?
The form asks for the company, the amount, the key dates, what happened, what you’ve tried, and a copy or photo of the bill, receipt or estimate. With that we can start right away, without emailing you questions. Extra documents (photos, emails, letters) help too. You can also email them later with your case reference.
How long does it take?
Simple billing errors can be fixed in days. Rental damage and refund disputes usually take a few weeks, because companies have their own response deadlines. We follow up on every one of them so nothing sits.
How do I reach you?
Email info@claimrightny.com. We reply within 1 business day. Once you submit and pay, we take it from there: we handle the emails, letters and calls with the company. We’ll email you when we have a result for you to approve — before anything is finalized.
Do you handle insurance claims?
No. We don’t handle insurance claims of any kind (auto, health, home, property or travel), and the form won’t accept them. We also don’t handle credit reports or debt settlement, and we never hold client money. We focus on unfair bills, charges and refunds from the company that billed you.
Who sees my documents?
Our case team, the secure services we use to run your case (hosting, email and drafting tools), and the company we contact for you once you’ve authorized it, about that matter only. We never sell your information, and we delete your files when you ask. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
How does the no-win refund work?
No one can honestly promise a result, so we put our fee on the line instead. No win? You get your full $300 back. A win is any refund, credit, waiver or bill reduction from the company. If they say no in writing, or 60 days pass after we file with them without a win, we refund you to your original payment method. You just need to send us the documents we ask for, and not withdraw or settle with the company on your own. If they offer something and you turn it down, that counts as a win. Full terms
Will you settle without asking me?
Never. You stay in control. Nothing is accepted, signed or paid without your approval.
